I'm Zachary, I'm 15, and I go to Ida B. Wells High School right here in SW Portland. This started as one of my chores at home, sharpening the family knives, and somewhere along the way I got really into it and realized I was good enough to make it a real thing. So now I'm bringing it to my neighbors.
I get that handing your knives to someone you don't know feels a little odd, so I keep it simple. I work right in front of you and your knives stay at your place the whole time. If a knife isn't sharp when I'm finished, you don't owe me anything for it.
